Information You Provide
- Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name.
- Hunt log data: Sightings, harvests, notes, and photos you voluntarily record in the app.
- Subscription information: Payment processing is handled by Apple (App Store) and Google (Play Store). We do not store your payment card details.
Information Collected Automatically
- Location data: With your permission, we access your device's GPS to display your position on maps, provide weather data, and enable offline map downloads. Location data is processed on-device and is not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly save a hunt log entry.
- Device information: Device model, operating system version, and app version for troubleshooting and compatibility.
- Analytics: We may use analytics tools to understand how our website and app are used. If analytics are active, data collected includes page views, session duration, and general usage patterns. Analytics data is aggregated and does not personally identify you.

Data Storage and Security
Your hunt log data and offline maps are stored locally on your device. Account data and synced content are stored on secure servers hosted by Google Cloud Platform in Canada. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Service providers: Google Cloud Platform (hosting), Firebase (authentication), RevenueCat (subscription management).
- Legal requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights.
