Web App
Open the same map at canhunt.app in any browser. Scout crown land, draw your areas and mark your spots on a screen big enough to see them, then pick it all up on your phone.
Also on the App Store and Google Play.
The Problem
Season planning is comparison work - this unit against that one, last year against this one, the access road against where the crown land actually starts. A phone shows you one corner of that at a time, and installing an app is a poor price to pay for a first look at the boundaries.
The Solution
CANhunt runs in the browser at canhunt.app with nothing to install. Same map, same account, same session as this site - so ground you scout at a desk is already on your phone when you leave, and what you marked in the field is waiting when you get back.
What you get
- The full map in any browser - no install, no app store
- One account across phone and browser; sign in with email, Google, Apple or Facebook
- WMU boundaries and crown land on a screen big enough to compare units side by side
- Tap any point for its zone, LEH draw zones, regulations and current conditions
- Every map tool the phone has: spots, notes, drawn areas, routes, GPX import, trail cameras
- Download map imagery in the browser and it keeps drawing there with no signal
